Our journey began as Rent a Sup, a company focused on stand up paddle tours to explore the iconic Benagil Cave and the hidden treasures along the Algarve coast. As time went on, we recognized the need to evolve. While stand up paddle is an incredible activity, it depends heavily on sea conditions and physical balance. That’s why we decided to create a new experience with even greater control, comfort, and quality.
That’s how Gold Waves Benagil was born — a new brand from the same creators of Secret Algarve, designed to take our tours to the next level. We now specialize in professional kayak expeditions, using rigid, high-end equipment that allows for more stable, safe, and guided exploration.
We’ve kept the same team, the same values, and the same care — now with a stronger structure and even higher standards.
